The "Aviation Workshop", organised by the Hong Kong Professional Airline Pilots Association (HKPAPA) and co-organised by Inspire Education Association, officially commenced on 7 February 2026. The inaugural session welcomed students from Stewards Pooi Tun Secondary School and HKTA The Yuen Yuen Institute No.1 Secondary School, and received an enthusiastic response.

The workshop was conducted in an interactive format. Experienced pilot instructors shared their professional experiences, highlighting the stringent demands on memory and concentration in aviation training. They designed a series of interactive games incorporating learning elements, guiding students to explore ways to enhance memory in an engaging manner, and helping them understand that the techniques behind professional training can also be applied to their daily studies.

Another highlight of the event was the flight simulator experience session. Students had the opportunity to personally operate professional-grade flight simulation equipment, gaining a preliminary understanding of the practical application of simulators in flight training. They also learned about the diverse career paths and entry routes in the aviation industry, broadening their horizons through hands-on practice.

HKPAPA stated that the workshop is not only an industry experience activity, but also an opportunity for students to gain more concrete ideas about their future career planning through sincere sharing and close interaction with pilots. As the event theme puts it: "Life is like a journey, and everyone is the pilot of their own life." It is hoped that this experience will sow the seeds of future exploration in the hearts of the younger generation, encouraging them to bravely take the helm and fly towards their own flight path.
