nspire Education Association organized a two-day study tour to Guangzhou for students from The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) from July 3 to 4.

Day 1: Integration of Academia and Green Technology
Upon arriving in Guangzhou via high-speed rail, students visited the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) (HKUST(GZ)). They engaged in academic discussions with faculty and peers while touring the campus to experience its smart facilities and innovative educational applications firsthand. In the afternoon, the group explored Guangzhou Sewage Purification Company Limited, Lijiao Branch, where they observed cutting-edge wastewater treatment technologies and learned about urban water recycling systems. This visit provided students with comprehensive insights into sustainable infrastructure.

Day 2: Green Energy Exploration
The second day featured a visit to Guangzhou No.1 Resource Thermal Power Plant. Through guided tours, students examined the process of converting municipal waste into clean energy, gaining deep appreciation for the ecological and technological impact of "turning waste into power." The tour concluded with the group returning to Hong Kong via high-speed rail.
