The importance of career planning for students is highlighted in both the Secondary Education Curriculum and University Curriculum Guidelines by the Education Bureau of Hong Kong. It is essential to incorporate learnings, interpersonal relationships, and readiness to work in the school curriculum, allowing students to make overall planning for their future down the road.

This pilot programme provides secondary school students with a total of 30 hours of the internship experience. Students can learn about workplace-related scenarios practically and apply basic hands-on skills in a real work environment, so they can recognize and understand workplace requirements through experiential learning.
