"Facing Bullying, Embracing LOVE" Mascot Design Competition Award Ceremony

Hong Kong - August 2024

On August 30, 2024, the award ceremony for the “Facing Bullying, Embracing LOVE” Mascot Design Competition 2024 was held at the Moreton Terrace Activities Centre Hall. Students, teachers, and parents from participating schools attended the event, witnessing this meaningful occasion together.

The awards presented on the day included the champion, first runner-up, and second runner-up for both primary and secondary school categories, as well as the “Most Creative Award”, “Most Popular Mascot Award”, and the “Love & Embrace” Grand Award. The “Most Popular Mascot Award” was determined by a combination of judges’ selection and public voting. Notably, the “Love & Embrace” Grand Award and the champion works from both primary and secondary school categories were produced and showcased at the Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong in late July, receiving enthusiastic responses from the audience. These mascots have also become ambassadors for the Inspire Education Association’s anti-bullying campaign!

• First Runner-up: HKUGA Primary School
• Second Runner-up: HKUGA Primary School
• Most Creative Award: Fukien Secondary School Affiliated School
• Most Popular Mascot Award: HKUGA Primary School

Secondary School Category:
• Champion: CCC Kei Yuen College
• First Runner-up: ELCHK Lutheran Academy
• Second Runner-up: ELCHK Lutheran Academy
• Most Creative Award: ELCHK Lutheran Academy
• Most Popular Award: Po On Commercial Association Wong Siu Ching Secondary School

“Love & Embrace” Grand Award: CCC Kei Yuen College

After the award presentation, the host invited the winners of the “Love & Embrace” Grand Award and the champions of the primary and secondary school categories to the stage to share their design concepts and acceptance speeches. The students expressed their experiences and insights gained from participating in the competition, hoping to convey the important message of anti-bullying through their creations.

With the successful conclusion of the award ceremony, we look forward to receiving more outstanding and excellent works next year. We hope everyone will continue to support and promote the anti-school bullying message, working together to build a society filled with love and inclusiveness.
