The Education University of Hong Kong - 2D1N Study Tour to Shenzhen and Huizhou

Inspire Education Association organized a two-day study tour on "Green Technology and ESG Practices" for students of The Education University of Hong Kong, visiting Shenzhen and Huizhou from April 4 to 5, 2025. The itinerary combined field visits, corporate exchanges, and academic seminars to deepen participants' understanding of sustainable development and environmental management.
Day 1: Visit to Environmental Facilities and ESG Enterprise
The tour began in Shenzhen with a visit to the Shenzhen Municipal Waste Disposal History Museum, where interactive exhibits and expert presentations showcased the evolution and innovative technologies of urban waste management. In the afternoon, the group proceeded to Ronghua Anjun Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., an ESG enterprise, to observe how environmental principles are integrated into production processes and engage in in-depth discussions with management on green manufacturing technologies. The team then traveled to Huizhou for an ecological study at the Huiyang District Environment Yuan, exploring regional practices in circular economy.
Day 2: Academic Seminar and Practical Workshop
The second day focused on academic exchange, starting with an ESG Seminar on "Sustainable Aquaculture and Marine Conservation," where industry experts shared case studies on ecological preservation, inspiring participants to reflect on related issues. In the afternoon, a hands-on interactive workshop allowed attendees to apply sustainable aquaculture techniques through simulated farming system design and water quality analysis, bridging theory and practice.
This study tour aligned closely with environmental education and sustainable development goals, broadening participants' professional perspectives through diverse activities while fostering knowledge exchange on ESG between Greater Bay Area and Hong Kong.
